Huawei Unveils the Watch Fit 3: A Familiar Design with Diverse Features

Huawei has unveiled its latest smartwatch, the Watch Fit 3, which boasts Android and iOS compatibility. Unlike previous fitness trackers, this new wearable sports a square-shaped design.

The Watch Fit 3 features an aluminum body with a thickness of 9.9mm and weighs just 26 grams. It is equipped with a 1.82-inch OLED display with a resolution of 480 x 408 pixels and a 60Hz refresh rate.

Huawei claims that the maximum display brightness of the new watch reaches an impressive 1,500 nits. Thanks to the ambient light sensor, the brightness of the Watch Fit 3 display is automatically adjusted.

Due to the larger display, the Huawei Watch Fit 3’s user interface has been redesigned with larger fonts and elements to allow for quicker access to information at a glance. A new rotating button for touch interaction aids in navigating the user interface.

The Huawei Watch Fit 3 smartwatch has the essential features of a smartwatch, such as making phone calls via Bluetooth, playing music, messaging, and quickly responding to notifications. It has a built-in single-band GPS.

The Watch Fit 3 boasts 101 workout modes to cover a wide range of activities. Other features include heart rate and arrhythmia monitoring, blood oxygen levels, sleep monitoring, and women’s health tracking capabilities.

To help users stay active, the Watch Fit 3 can suggest workouts and provide animation guides for performing exercises.

In addition, calorie management and even an AI-based running coach (to analyze running form and provide helpful tips) have been added to the Watch Fit 3.

The Huawei Watch Fit 3 will be available in a variety of colors, including black, pink, green, and white. Band options include leather, fluoroelastomer, and nylon. Huawei claims water resistance up to 5 ATM for this product.

The battery life of the Watch Fit 3 is estimated at up to 10 days with typical use and up to 7 days with heavy use. Huawei claims that a 10-minute charge can provide enough power for a full day of use.

Pre-sales for the Huawei Watch Fit 3 will begin today across Europe, and sales will start on May 22nd. The price of Huawei’s new smartwatch starts at 159 euros for the base model.
