Xiaomi to update more phones to HyperOS in Q2 2024

Xiaomi has officially announced that some of its phones will receive the HyperOS update in the second quarter of 2024.

According to a post by Xiaomi on the social network X, the phones in question include the Xiaomi 11 Ultra, Xiaomi 11T Pro, Xiaomi Mi 11X, Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge, Xiaomi 11 Lite, Xiaomi 11i, Xiaomi Mi 10, Xiaomi Pad 5, Redmi K50i, the Redmi 13C family, Redmi 12, Redmi 11 Prime 5G and the Redmi Note 11 series.

Phones that have previously been updated to HyperOS include the Xiaomi 13 Pro, Xiaomi 12 Pro, Redmi Note 12 series, Redmi Note 13 series, Redmi 11 Prime, Xiaomi Pad 6 and Redmi 12C.

The update will be gradually released for other Xiaomi phone models. The Chinese company has replaced the MIUI user interface with HyperOS in order to satisfy its users and encourage customers to buy Xiaomi phones.

HyperOS is a new operating system developed by Xiaomi. It is based on Android 14 and is designed to be more user-friendly, efficient and secure than MIUI.
The update will be rolled out to eligible devices in batches. The first batch of devices will receive the update in Q2 2024, while the second batch will receive the update in Q3 2024.
