Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro: A stylish mid-ranger with powerful specs

The Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro retains the overall design of the Civi 3 but with some improvements. The back of the phone features a circular camera module that houses three cameras. The phone is available in four colors: green, purple, black, and blue.

The frame of the device is flat and the edges are curved for a comfortable grip. The Civi 4 Pro features a 6.55-inch curved OLED display with a resolution of 2,750 x 1,236 pixels, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a pixel density of 460ppi. The display also supports 100% DCI-P3 color space and can reach a peak brightness of 3,000 nits.

The display of the Civi 4 Pro also houses the fingerprint sensor and supports HDR10+ and Dolby Vision. It also has a feature called Wet Touch that eliminates accidental touches when the screen is wet. A pill-shaped notch at the top of the display houses two selfie cameras.

The display of the Civi 4 Pro is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2. The Civi 4 Pro is 7.45mm thick and weighs 179 grams.



Performance and Battery

The Civi 4 Pro is powered by the 4nm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor with a maximum clock speed of 3GHz. The processor is coupled with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage.

Xiaomi claims that its new mid-ranger can achieve an average of 59.4fps over 30 minutes of playing Genshin Impact. The Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 can also significantly boost on-device AI processing on the new Xiaomi phone.

The latest Xiaomi phone is equipped with a 4,700mAh battery that supports 67W fast charging. To control the temperature, the Civi 4 Pro uses a 4,184mm² vapor chamber cooler.



Connectivity and Software

The new Xiaomi phone supports 5G, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and GPS. It runs Android 14 and the HyperOS user interface.


The Civi 4 Pro features a 50MP OmniVision Light Fusion 800 main camera with f/1.63 aperture and optical image stabilization (OIS), a 50MP Samsung JN1 telephoto camera with f/1.98 aperture and autofocus, and a 12MP ultrawide camera with 120-degree field of view and f/2.2 aperture.

The front of the device houses a 32MP main selfie camera with 78-degree field of view and f/2.0 aperture for portrait shots, and a 32MP ultrawide selfie camera with 100-degree field of view and AI-enhanced f/2.4 aperture and electronic image stabilization (EIS). All cameras of the Civi 4 Pro have custom settings and special Leica photography modes.

Pricing and Availability

The Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro starts at CNY 2,999 (around $417) for the base variant with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. The top-end variant is priced at CNY 3,599 (around $500).
