Xiaomi 14T and 14T Pro: Upgraded Hardware and Leica Telephoto Lens Expected

Xiaomi is reportedly working on the successors to the Xiaomi 13T and 13T Pro, the Xiaomi 14T and 14T Pro. Information leaked from HyperOS code suggests that the Xiaomi 14T Pro will be an enhanced version of the Redmi K70 Ultra.

Both the Redmi K70 Ultra and 14T Pro share the codename “rothko” and model number N12, hinting at similar specifications.

The Xiaomi 14T Pro is rumored to feature wireless charging and a Leica telephoto lens, features that will not be present on the Redmi K70 Ultra. Both Xiaomi phones are likely to be powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 9300 chipset.

The standard Xiaomi 14T, codenamed “degas,” is said to retain the Dimensity 8200 Ultra chipset without any hardware changes compared to its predecessor.

Both the 14T and 14T Pro are likely to share the same camera and battery specifications. The main differentiating factor for Xiaomi’s T-series phones is usually the processor.

The Redmi K70 Ultra is expected to be unveiled in August, while the 14T series is likely to be launched globally in September. Pricing for the new Xiaomi phones is yet to be revealed.
