TCL unveils its new smart TV with a 144Hz 4K panel and advanced technologies.

TCL has unveiled its new LCD TV with Mini-LED backlighting. This T7K series TV comes with a 65-inch display and impressive specifications.

The T7K TV features a 144Hz display with a resolution of 3,840 x 2,160 pixels (4K). The display, known as True XDR Mini LED, has 512 dimming zones for precise control of brightness and contrast. In addition, optical microlenses improve light control for more natural images.

In terms of brightness, the T7K TV has a maximum brightness of 1,600 nits along with a 16:1 dynamic contrast ratio, which delivers fine image details in both dark and bright scenes.

TCL has focused on the color accuracy of the T7K, stating that the TV uses Quantum Dot Pro 2024 technology. This technology covers 98% of the DCI-P3 color gamut along with a wide range of real and vibrant colors. The manufacturer also claims that Quantum Dot technology maintains color fidelity for up to 10 years in accurate reproduction of primary colors.

The TCL TV is powered by the Linyao M2 chip and the TXR image enhancement chip, which improves image quality with over 20 quality correction algorithms. The chip supports advanced features including intelligent brightness control, light synchronization, and AI-based color adjustment.

The new TCL TV comes with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. The TV is ad-free when booting up and, like the latest smartphones, boasts a super-fast 0.7-second boot time, which improves the overall user interface and interaction experience.

The TCL T7K is equipped with a professional Hi-Fi two-channel sound system with 70W output power and an independent 20W subwoofer, and supports Dolby Atmos technology.

The new TV includes four HDMI ports (two HDMI 2.1 ports and two eARC ports), one USB-A 3.0 port, one USB-A 2.0 port, one AV port, one RJ45 port, and one HDMI 2.0 port.

The price of the 65-inch TCL TV has been announced as 4,299 yuan (around $605) on the store in China.
