Samsung Galaxy devices get more accurate battery stats with new update

Samsung is bringing back one of the most requested features related to battery life statistics to its devices. Galaxy phones and tablets used to offer stats on how long the display had been on since the last charge, but Samsung removed this feature with the One UI 6.0 update.

The Since Last Charge feature in the Samsung Galaxy Device Care battery life update

The new version of the Device Care app, which is now available, brings back the Since Last Charge option to the battery life graph. This update, which is rolling out to One UI 5.1 and One UI 6.0 user interfaces, is not yet widely available.

After installing the new Device Care update, two filters are offered in the dropdown menu: “Today” and “Since Last Charge”; the “Today” option shows the battery charging and battery life graph for the current day. When the “Since Last Charge” option is selected, the battery life graph shows the screen-on time since the device was last charged.

Additional information:

The update is currently rolling out to Galaxy devices in select regions.
The update is expected to be available to all Galaxy devices in the coming weeks.
To check if the update is available for your device, open the Settings app, go to “Device Care,” and tap on “Battery.”
If the update is available, you will see a notification to download and install it.

Here are some of the benefits of the Since Last Charge feature:

It provides a more accurate view of how your battery has been performing since the last charge.

It can help you identify apps that are draining your battery.

It can help you make changes to your battery usage habits to extend your battery life.

If you are a Galaxy device user, I recommend that you install the new Device Care update as soon as it is available for your device. The Since Last Charge feature is a valuable tool that can help you manage your battery life more effectively.
