Poco F6 Chipset and Camera Specifications Leaked

The Poco F6 is likely to be the first smartphone in the global markets to feature the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset.

The Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro was unveiled in China as the first smartphone to be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset. Now, a recent post by the Poco Global CEO on Twitter suggests that the next Poco phone, which is likely the Poco F6, will be the first device to feature the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 in the global markets. Some of the technical specifications of the device have now been leaked ahead of its official launch.

Leaked specifications

The Poco F6 is said to carry the model number N61 and will sport a 50-megapixel main camera with the Sony IMX882 sensor. This camera has been previously used in smartphones like the Realme 12 Pro 5G and the iQOO Z9 5G.

The report further states that the Poco F6 will be equipped with an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera with the Sony IMX355 sensor and a macro camera with the OmniVision OV20B40 sensor. There are also some rumors that the device might feature a dual-camera setup, in which case the macro camera will be omitted.

Other expected features

Other expected features of the Poco F6 include the SM8635 chipset (Snapdragon 8s Gen 3). The phone is also said to use OLED panels from TCLD and Tianma.

Pricing and availability

The pricing of the Poco F6 is still unknown, but it is rumored to be launched officially in April. The price of the phone is expected to be lower than its competitors in the same segment.
