Meta Quest 3s: Everything we know so far

Meta is reportedly working on a new affordable VR headset, the Meta Quest 3s. The successor to the Meta Quest 2, the Quest 3s is expected to be a more affordable version of the Quest 3, which is set to launch later this year.

The images, which appear to be screenshots from a Zoom meeting, show the Quest 3s alongside the Meta Quest 3.

The Quest 3s is expected to be a smaller version of the Quest 3 with a lower price tag. The headset will reportedly have a resolution of 1920 x 1832 pixels and 256GB of storage, compared to the Quest 3’s resolution of 2208 x 2064 pixels and 512GB of storage.

The leaked images show that the Quest 3s is slightly smaller than the Quest 3. The main difference between the two headsets is the front-facing sensors. The Quest 3 has three oval cutouts for the sensors, while the Quest 3s has six circular cutouts that are arranged in two rows on the front of the headset.

Official information

Meta has not yet officially announced the Quest 3s. However, the leaked images and specifications suggest that the headset is real and that it will be released soon.

What we think

The Meta Quest 3s is a great option for budget-minded VR users. The headset is expected to offer a good balance of features and performance at a price that is more affordable than the Meta Quest 3. We are excited to learn more about the Quest 3s and we will be sure to update you as more information becomes available.
