Honor Pad 9 Pro: Enhanced Display, Processor, and Battery

Honor has unveiled the Honor Pad 9 Pro, an upgraded version of the Honor Pad 9, exclusively for the Chinese market. The Pad 9 Pro boasts a 12.1-inch TFT LCD display with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels and a 144Hz refresh rate, delivering over 1.07 billion colors and 100% DCI-P3 color gamut coverage.

Powered by the octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 8100 chipset, the Honor Pad 9 Pro comes with 8GB or 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It runs Android 14 with MagicOS 8.0 and packs a 10,050mAh battery with support for 35W fast charging.

For imaging, the tablet features a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera. Measuring 6.64mm in thickness and weighing around 589 grams, the Honor Pad 9 Pro supports Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, 5G connectivity, and a USB-C port.

Available in Gray and Blue color options, the Honor Pad 9 Pro is priced at CNY 2,199 (around $303) for the 8GB RAM variant and CNY 2,499 (around $345) for the 12GB RAM model, making it about 30% more expensive than the Honor Pad 9.
