Honor MagicBook Pro 16 Now Available with 24GB RAM

The Honor MagicBook Pro 16, a powerful AI-powered laptop unveiled at MWC 2024, is now available in China with 24GB of RAM.

The laptop is the first to feature a non-standard, non-binary RAM capacity of 24GB (LPDDR5X-6400). This new capacity, along with 12GB and 48GB, is expected to become more prevalent for laptops in the coming years, providing customers with a relatively affordable option to get a higher memory variant, rather than just doubling the capacity.

The 24GB RAM configuration is currently available for pre-reservation with the Intel Core Ultra 5 125H chip. Honor announced at MWC that its new laptop will also be available with a Core Ultra 7 155H processor and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 graphics.

Key features of the Honor MagicBook Pro 16 include:

  • A 16-inch display with a resolution of 3072 x 1920 pixels and a refresh rate of 165Hz
  • A 16:10 aspect ratio
  • 100% coverage of the sRGB and DCI-P3 color gamuts
  • A maximum brightness of 500 nits

The Honor laptop will be available with up to 32GB of RAM and 1TB of storage, so it is unlikely to be offered with 48GB of RAM.

The Honor MagicBook Pro 16 is equipped with a 75Wh battery and features a fingerprint sensor, 3.5mm headphone jack, HDMI port, Thunderbolt 4, and USB-C based on USB 3.2 Gen 2.
