Honor Band 9: New fitness tracker with 14-day battery life and curved AMOLED display

The Honor Band 9 has been officially launched as the successor to the Honor Band 7, which was released in late 2022.

According to Honor, the Honor Band 9 features a rectangular AMOLED display that is not only larger than its predecessor but also has curved edges for a more stylish look.

The Honor Band 9’s 1.57-inch display has a resolution of 402 x 256 pixels, a pixel density of 302 PPI, and a refresh rate of 60 Hz. The previous model had a 1.47-inch display with a resolution of 364 x 198 pixels.

The Honor Band 9’s body is made of plastic, like the Honor Band 7, with a metal-like feel on the sides. The smart band is also 5ATM water-resistant, meaning it can withstand water submersion up to 50 meters.

The Honor Band 9 uses Bluetooth 5.3 to connect to iPhones and Android devices and pairs with the Honor Health app. Like other smart bands on the market, the Honor Band 9 focuses on user health. It features 96 workout modes, sleep tracking, heart rate monitoring, blood oxygen monitoring, and stress level monitoring.

Honor says its new smart band also has useful features like music playback control and app notification display, and it can last up to 14 days on a single charge.

The Honor Band 9 is priced at 249 yuan (around $35). There is also an early bird discount of 229 yuan (around $30). It will be available in three colors: black, purple, and blue.
